Homeschool High School 2018-19 Curriculum Choice : LLATL Gold Series
We will be doing some selections from both the American and British Lit LLATL Gold guides this coming year. We will not have time to do all of them, nor would I even to begin with.
There are new editions available (look at Rainbow Resource, Christian Books, etc. to find these) but I am pretty sure it's mostly cosmetic in nature. You can find the guides used for a better price, esp. since they are still covering the same books.

Homeschool High School Help: Language Arts
Language Arts for the high school years does not have to be intimidating. I break ours into three main sections....mechanics (spelling, sentence structure, vocab, comprehension, etc.), writing (all that scary stuff-research papers, essays, college formats MLA, APA and business writing), and lastly-literature. Real lit. Not a few paragraphs of something, but actual books read in their entirety.

Homeschool High School: One Year Adventure Novel
For my son's senior year, we will have him work through the One Year Adventure Novel. This is the majority of his Lang. Arts course for the year...but we will add in more...look for that video soon.
The main purpose of the program is to help walk the student thru the process of creating their own novel. They will need to have the textbook, student workbook, and DVDs to utilize the program. The entire kit contains all of that, including the additional novel and parent guide.
