UPDATE: Now that we are homeschooling full time as of the 2018-2019 school year, we still use these resources for teaching and learning.
April 22nd around 10 a.m. CST is my curriculum day, which is when I share all current curriculum/resources (for all subjects) before changes and/or new purchases are made for the following home school year.
These math resources were used between 2016 to 2018 and will more than likely continue to be part of our home school library for many years to come.

2018-2019 Home School Independent Reading Book List (5th Grade)
These are the books my 5th grader will be required to read on his own for the 2018 - 2019 home school year. He is required to read a minimum of 30 mins per day (7 days per week). If the day is just busy/hectic, he has to read at least 2 chapters (depending on how long the chapters are).
New books will be added once all these books have been read.

Every Spring (March - early May) during after schooling / homeschooling, we have boot camps and workshops for each subject that has a state STAAR test for my child's grade level.
For the 4th grade, our camps/workshops are Math, Writing, and Reading.

Summer Homeschooling (Grammar Lesson)
Summer 2017.
Son is 9 y/o entering 4th grade Fall 2017.
We use The Shurley Method (Level 4) and First Language Lessons for a Well Trained Mind (Level 3).
I use these curriculums for grammar when child is in grades 1 through 5 in effort to build a solid and strong foundation in grammar.
