Thousands Of Students Taking Advantage Of Advanced Placement Courses
The Tennessee Board of Regents says more than 20,000 high school students in the state and across the country have registered for the free online prep courses in English and Statistics.
The test is developed by TBR faculty.
Administrators say the courses will help better prepare high school students for college placement exams.
The courses are offered online through the EdX, which provides free 24-7 access to the course content.

Tennessee High School Seniors Are Taking Advantage Of Free Education
High school seniors have less than one month to apply for the Tennessee Promise program.
According to the Governor's office more than 15,000 students in the class of 2015 are taking advantage of the program this fall.
The deadline for the class of 2016 is Nov. 2.
In addition to the application students need to file a federal student aid form go to two mandatory meetings and complete eight hours of community service.
