180 students from Western High School, Iroquois High School and Valley High School showcased their engineering and construction talents at the 70th annual Home, Garden & Remodeling Show by displaying projects they created in their classes, including a luxury dog house, toddler playhouse, urban chicken coop and raised garden bed, among other items.

Students at Valley High School participated in the CARE (Credit Abuse Resistance Education Program), an initiative that puts attorneys and judges in high school classrooms to teach seniors about credit responsibility and the dangers of credit card abuse.
