Kinglsey Plantation - Ft. George Island, FL - Homeschool Field Trip
We took a field trip to Kingsley Plantation, on Fort George Island in North Florida. This video was shot in the information center where Betty gave a short hands-on lecture about the main crop on the plantation, Sea Isle Cotton. The owner of the plantation, Mr. Kingsley, owned over 3000 acres of land in North Florida, including Orange Park, and parts of Jacksonville.

St. Augustine, FL - Castillo de San Marcos Pt. 1 - Homeschool Field Trips
We took a field trip to St. Augustine, FL and one of the highlights was our visit to the Castillo San Marco, a 300 + year old fort that was originally built by the Spanish.
