Overwhelmed- new to homeschooling

Hi allie879, and welcome! I would like to recommend two pages for you to visit first... the Time4Learning Getting Started with Homeschooling guide (you don't have to use T4L to find the information in there REALLY helpful) and the HSLDA page for South Carolina Homeschool Laws. You don't have to join an association if you don't want to, if you have a high school diploma or GED. Having said that though, homeschool groups can be a wonderful resource, especially for new homeschoolers.
