Researchers study impact of forest schools on early years education

This year, the University's Holywell Wood became home to a forest school. Run by a local nursery, the school allows children to learn outdoors by participating in woodland activities such as making fires, building dens and learning all about flora and fauna. Alongside this, our researchers have been studying the impact of this type of learning on early years education and development.
