We're using Acellus (in which he mostly works independently) for Math and English. Easy Peasy (for discussion courses with me) for the remainder of the curriculum, and KidsSpell for weekly Vocabulary. We have also added our own Novel Studies and Dart Geography. He will be rotating minor studies on certain days throughout the week. Today...

Hi! We took our kids out of public school and are on our 3rd year of homeschool. It has been the most positive experience, both academically, emotionally and spiritually. best decision ever.

Homeschool Curriculum is one of my favorite things! New books make me happy! We are using My Father's World, 1850-Modern Times, as well as their First Grade, Learning God's Story. I love My Father's World for the biblical worldview as well as the family learning. This year, I will have a 7th, 5th, and 1st grader, plus a Preschooler, as well as an almost 3 and 1 year old. UPDATE : Lorelai has tested into The Good & The Beautiful Language Arts Level 7 which is for 8th and 9th grade. She stopped using level 4 and is now using level 7.
